Crepes with Forte chocolate date spreads - the rolled up way



Your choice of Forte Chocolate fruit spreads



  • Spread your choice of Forte Chocolate fruit spread onto the crepe evenly
  • Roll it like a scroll and serve


INGREDIENTS for the crepes

For gluten free crepes use Forte's crepe mix

For regular crepes, use recipe below:

1/2 all purpose flour

1/2 cup milk of choice

1/4 cup luke-warm water

2 large eggs

2 tbsp oil of choice (we recommend melted coconut oil)

1/2 tbsp sugar 

pinch of salt

Directions for the crepes:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or with a hand mixer until smooth
  2. Let it stand for 30 minutes at room temperature or in the fridge over night
  3. When ready to fry, use a non-stick crepe pan or frying pan (8" works best) on medium heat
  4. Stir the batter and pour a ladleful (~1/3 cup) in the middle of the pan
  5. Swirl until it covers the entire pan in a thin layer
  6. Cook until the top is set and the underside is golden 
  7. Turn the crepe over with your finger or a spatula until the other side is golden as well 
  8. Continue to cook the rest of the batter
